Praia Grande is a small city with just over 8 thousand inhabitants in the extreme south of Santa Catarina. In the city you will find some gastronomic options that range from affordable and simpler meals to higher priced meals with differentiated service.
Currently in our gastronomic guide to the city we have tips ranging from themed cafes, à la carte services, pizzerias and restaurants with traditional food in an all-you-can-eat buffet style.
Today the restaurants are distributed in the central area of the city, and some locations with greater tourist appeal. With many different options serving delivery only. Praia Grande does not have Ifood, or any other app to order meals. So click below and we will provide you with contact information for all the options in the city.
From pizzeria to craft brewery
The main pizzerias in the city are #pizzariacasarão which is located in the city's central square and is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 6pm with a varied menu of pizza, a la carte dishes and in winter it serves options of soups and broths. For those who like a good all-you-can-eat pizza, we have the #cantinhodapizza pizzeria where, in addition to preparing pizzas in the clay oven, there is a buffet included in the all-you-can-eat menu with snacks, pasta and lasagna served on a wood-burning stove. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm and is located at the entrance to the city, 300 meters from the Tourist Information Center.
For those who want a place with more elaborate dishes and a cool atmosphere, Praia Grande has three good options, they are the #blackhouse414 Restaurant which is located in the central square, next to the main church. With a la carte dishes prepared by an in-house chef, impeccable service and a good wine, drinks and drinks list. The featured dish is Salmon with mustard and honey sauce. Open from Wednesday to Monday from 18:00 and on Saturdays from 11:00. The Restô do Refugio Ecológico Pedra Afiada opens to the public subject to reservation, and also features delicious à la carte dishes and the best wine cellar in the city open to the public. Cozy atmosphere at the foot of the Malacara Canyon. As well as #EntreRios Parrilla y Bar which serves cuts of meat in the Uruguayan parrilla on the banks of the Molha Coco Canyon River and has live music on weekends, open from Tuesday to Sunday. In Serra da Faxinal we have two very interesting options that are available upon reservation, one of them is inside the inn #moradadoscanyons where the restaurant opens at noon with à la carte dishes, and with an excellent list of craft beers and a cozy atmosphere. And also the #vissta altitude cuisine, an incredible gastronomic experience that deserves to be enjoyed with good weather to enjoy the dishes prepared by renowned chef Marcos Levi, the restaurant is located inside the Azimuth and has only 07 tables, advance reservation is required.
For lovers of good craft beer, from Monday to Saturday from 6pm in the city we have the option of the Gastro Pub #GrotaBier, the official restaurant of the city's brewery, which prepares the only beer in Brazil made with water from the canyons. At the Gastro pub, in addition to being able to try craft beer labels, it has 04 taps of fresh draft beer depending on the time of year, and the menu includes gourmet snacks such as Choripan and Pancho prepared in a very special way and also includes dishes à la carte with trout, salmon and rump. In Vila Rosa we also have The Cuccine - International cuisine, with dishes prepared by Chef Lian, an incredible look! The tip is to try the picanha burger.
For a good meal, with the flavor of grandma's house, we have four options that are open during the day, they are the #sabordosaparados restaurant with a buffet with more than 14 hot dishes, a salad island, diverse desserts and freshly prepared pasta as per choice of ingredients by the customer. The restaurant is open from Monday to Saturday from 11:30 to 15:00. It is located in the central region of the city. The second option with a respectful PF is the #schimidt restaurant and snack shop open from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm in the afternoon with snack options. Another restaurant open from Monday to Monday, from 11:30 am until 2:00 pm is #restaurantedocarlinhos located next to a national gas station, with an all-you-can-eat buffet and roast ribs served on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
In the capital of the Canyons, to drink that special coffee we have two options in the city, the colonial café #saboresdacacau on the access highway to most of the trails in the region. And also the #voenoscanyonscafe themed cafe at the entrance to the city with a balloon flight simulator, themed decoration and a beautiful view of the canyons of our region.
For those who like snacks, we have some delivery options in the city with #valhaladefumatados with smoked burgers (Telephone: 048 996934525) opening hours from 7:30 pm to 11:30 pm (pre-scheduled service). A great vegan option is #ganeshvegetarianoevegano (Telephone 048 991498651) open from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. And for those who want to enjoy a good snack and snack, we have #OfficinadoLanche, open for departures at 7:00 pm in the central area of the city.
